Znaniye, The Russian Embassy and Rossotrudnichestvo will present The First Symposium for Russian Language Educators, taking place at The Russian Embassy and Rossotrudnichestvo on the 23rd of January, featuring keynote speakers such as the Russian Ambassador to the UK, representatives from RUDN University Moscow and leading educational researchers.

Amongst those invited are Directors of Russian Language Schools, Heads of Russian Departments within English Schools, Ministers of Education, as well as pioneers, researchers and leaders in the field of Russian Language and accreditation.

The event will be the first of its type to take place in the U.K offering a platform for not only directors but also the schools’ teachers, and will cover topical content and solutions to current situations within the industry, planned school and cultural projects as well as prospects for future cooperation between Russian Educational establishments, and provide a unique opportunity for networking with like-minded individuals.

The day will be split into two parts, with the private event opening speeches and welcoming reception taking place at the Russian Embassy, along with keynote speeches from guests such as the Russian Ambassador to the UK, leading Bilingual Psychologists and Industry Innovators. The second half of the event will be hosted at Rossotrudnichestvo and will welcome more Russian teachers, as well as international speeches from Russia, open floor time and more.

The Symposium will also act as opportunity to recognise the 'Best Teacher of The Year', following recommendations that have taken place throughout the previous months. The diploma will continue to be awarded in years to come to teachers who are put forward by their colleagues.
